Six Sentence Sunday 12/18/11

December 18, 2011 by carly 9 Comments

Hi Sixers,

Christmas is a week away – YIKES!  Anyone else completely and totally unprepared besides me?

This is from my WIP titled Finding My Faith.

The feeling was as real as the skin she was touching, the strong arms wrapped around her, the water beating against both of them.

She hated she had to say goodbye today, and hated it even more that she didn’t understand why.  It all seemed so simple to her:  she loved him.  He loved her.  They went on to happily ever after.  But Rayner had made it clear that the happy ending was nowhere to be seen in their future.

I’m sure he’ll come around eventually and they’ll be able to make it work. 😉

Oh, that’s so sad. Loved your first line, especially.

Something tells me there’s more to Rayner than this six is telling us. There MUST be a reason he sees no happy ending. A jaded hero, maybe? Look forward to reading more.

Maybe she can make him understand how simple things are. I hope so! Love your first line.
