So the past couple of weeks, I’ve been feeling under the weather, and it seemed  no matter what I did, nothing helped.  I felt tired, sick to my stomach and just blah in general.

Then Monday I went to my doctor because of the stomach pains I was having, and an hour later I was flat on my back in the operating room having my pesky appendix removed.

I’m now in my second day of my hospital stay and waiting for the doctor to come in and tell me I can go home.  Since I’ve been here, I’ve thrown up on a nurse, flashed my butt at a hallway full of people, and I may or may not have cursed at someone.  I’m not a good patient, and I expect they want me out of here sooner than later.

What all this means to you….

Because I’ve been feeling so crappy, I haven’t been able to work on REBORN‘s final edits, so it’s not ready.  And now that I’m recovering from surgery, it’s going to be even longer.  Editing while on Vicodin probably isn’t a good idea.

I’m canceling the release party on Facebook.  I know you have been waiting patiently, and I appreciate your enthusiasm.   I promise that Hudson’s story will be out by the end of August at the latest.

Thank you for your patience – you guys are the best 🙂

With love,

Carly

  1. So sorry to hear you have been under the weather Carly. At least you’ve got rid of the problem aka bad appendix. Hope you’re feeling better and are out from under the fog of Vicodin soon.
